Welcome to Streatham & Brixton Quaker Meeting

Welcome to Streatham and Brixton Local Quaker Meeting. There has been an active Quaker meeting in Streatham for over 100 years. As Quakers, we believe that God is present in everyone. Putting our faith into action is central to our way of life. We try to live simply and sustainably, to trust in love, and to work towards peace and equality.

The Meeting House sits on its own grounds on the Roupel Park Estate at the top of Brixton Hill. It is well served by public transport and has some private, limited parking. The building is fully accessible and has a range of rooms, which can be hired. Details can be found here.

You are welcome to join our Meeting for Worship on Sundays at 10:30 am either at the meeting house or remotely via Zoom  (Meeting ID: 440 658 134). We do not have a regular Children’s Meeting, but there is an ad hoc group for under 7s which meets by arrangement, please contact us for details.

We meet for an hour followed by time for a chat, and refreshments. Visitors, whether fellow Quakers or the simply curious, are always welcome. If you would like to find out more about our local meeting, please email us and we will contact you.
